Would you pronounce the ‘s’ in Josiah as an ‘s’ (‘jo-SI-ah’) or a ‘z’ (‘jo-ZI-ah’) sound?

S for Josiah and Joseph

Z. Joseph and Josephine also with Zs.

Z for all of them. And Z in Isaac which came up on here before.

S for both!

No z sound.

On a similar note, it irks me when people pronounce Josephine "Jozephine" and Josie "Jozie". It put me off the name.

I have to agree with a pp that I pronounce it somewhere between the two!
