Opinions on this name for a boy? Pronounced loch - Lan.

Thank you for all the replies. I didn't realise the pronounciation was controversial, but it is good to know. I got the pronounciation from the Australian common pronounciation, as in Lockie from the Wiggles! It is however a Scottish name so good to know how the Scots pronounce it. I think I need to listen to a recording of a Scot saying it.

Depends on where you are- if you're outside of Scotland then likely the -ch won't be said properly and it will sound like lack-lan which I think is awful. The -ch needs to be pronounced correctly.
