Hannah is a palindrome. I love names that can’t fiddle with and my only DD is a Hannah, so I am biased

Itchytights · 15/07/2018 18:45

Kate is gorgeous.

Timeless and elegant.

Hannah is a bit meh imo

MessyMeTarr · 15/07/2018 18:47

I know an awesome Kate and she was the only one in her very big primary school. It's a brilliant name.

h34567 · 15/07/2018 18:48

I'm a Hannah and I don't like it (sorry!) There are loads of us about and there aren't really any nicknames so you just end up being Hannah C or whatever. It's also very 80s/90s, though at least that means she might be the only one in her class. I DO like that it's a palindrome and easy to spell/learn to write!

Tbh Kate is a bit boring too but something like Catherine would give more options.

Charm23 · 15/07/2018 18:58

I prefer Kate but it will probably be a lot more popular than Hannah due to Kate Middleton, so I'd bear that in mind.

rogueone · 15/07/2018 19:02

Sorry but the link with the royals would be the decider for Kate.... bet it will become popular too...Anyway if I had to choose again it would be Grace! We chose Hannah is it worked well with the middle and surname. She has an unusual spanish middle name. Good luck with your decision...its such a personal thing!

SlimmingMumOf1 · 15/07/2018 19:10

Hannah

grizabelle · 15/07/2018 19:34

Waves at h34567. Glad it's not just me!

AnyaMoondial · 15/07/2018 19:35

Kate. It's clean and short. Very refreshing and nice for some girl names not to end in ee or a/ah sounds.

uncoolnn · 15/07/2018 19:36

Hannah. But I am a bit biased Wink

ReevaDiva · 15/07/2018 19:58

Kate. It's strong and elegant.

Hannah is very drippy and bland.

rogueone · 15/07/2018 20:02

Reeva My DD who is a 14 is tall, slender dark haired half Spanish beauty and certainly could not be described as drippy and bland Grin

happytobemrsg · 15/07/2018 20:06

I think both are very plain. Sorry OP. Katie is pretty

Flamingosnbears · 15/07/2018 21:08

Kate there are soooo many Hannah's! how about Katherine just for more flexibility...

BadderWolf · 15/07/2018 21:09

Hannah

Kevinbaconsrealwife · 15/07/2018 21:11

Well I love them both but for very personal reasons....one was my lovely Godmother who is no longer with us and the other is the name of my wonderful God daughter....sorry I know that doesn’t help you at all x

QuitMoaning · 15/07/2018 21:33

*Kate is gorgeous.

Timeless and elegant*

Why, thank you. 😊

Tissunnyupnorth · 15/07/2018 21:41

Have a 7 yr old Kate. Have yet to come across another in school, nursery, sports clubs or any other walk of her life Smile

BentOutOfShape · 15/07/2018 22:53

Either! Both are lovely names.

RedDwarves · 15/07/2018 22:53

Love both.

But I would probably choose Kate. I'd likely have a Kate myself if I didn't already have a cousin (who I'm close to) with the name.

BentOutOfShape · 15/07/2018 22:54

Hmm thinking about it a little more I think I'd have to go for Hannah simply because it's a palindrome, that's a good reason isn't it?

LoveInTokyo · 17/07/2018 00:27

Katherine nn Kate, or Anna Smile
