I love Lucy, Clara, and Hazel personally.

I think Violet, Pearl, Daisy, Maria, Audrey, Hannah, and Alice are also really nice.

Lucy, Clara and Belle!

Interesting that , with one exception, everyone has given exclusively girls' names.

Is this some kind of experiment?

Mind you, my first thought was also Annabel. :-)

If you did fancy names that also mean 'light/bright', I found a few that might suit:

Girls
Alba (white, really, also taken to mean dawn)
Ellen (variation of Helen), could even go for Nell as nn - my personal fav.
Ilona (again version of Helen)
Saskia
Thea/Theia
Zia

Boys - blimey there are not a lot of boys' names to do with light, besides Luke/Luca/Lucien etc)
Oran
Abner?!
Fionn (fair)
Sol at a push

also, the -bert component in a lot of male names are from Germanic root beraht, meaning bright. So Robert, Albert, Gilbert, Bertram, Isambard (!) etc.

Thanks! Love Kate, Hannah, Eliza and Rose for a girl. Any ideas for a boy?
