Zadie? Too cutesy? I dislike Sadie as it has the word sad in it. Worried I might be going bonkers!

I like it! Once she’s born it will be her- people won’t be so judgy/opinionated

We have a couple of Sadie’s close to us, I love it.

Love it. Also a fan of Sadie (my goddaughters name), and of the author Zadie Smith.

But it's not pronounced die is it? 😁 Husband has just declared it not a proper name so here we go again. Sorry to be such a bore.

I do t think Zadie is "try hard" (and I tend to think a lot of MN names are try hard). It's cool; as is Zadie Smith. Sadie is far more saccharine and cutesy imo.
