Neri for a girl

Hi, what do you think of Neri for a girl? I heard it the other day and like the sound...Is it short for anything?

I don't like it.

I've never heard of Neri, but you could go for Nerissa with Neri as the shortened form?

I have cousins in Ameria with a daughter called Nairi (rhymes Fairy) - not sure of its meaning though.

Nerhys is a proper name - Neri for nickname

I like it. I like Nerys though. Neri is cute and a bit different but not mad if you know what I mean? It's a really pretty name like Nansi.

Nerys and Nerian are two welsh girls names.

There’s also Nia or Niamh/Neeve if you like n names! Naomi has fallen out of Fashion too but is still a pretty name

Neri sounds like a made up name to me.

I have a friend called Nyree which is a real name and I really like.

I know a Neri short for Aneris.

Interestingly it's the name of the woman Brad Pitt is apparently dating. A sign that the name is lucky for some perhaps?
