Still completely unsure as to baby names for two girls. I love the idea of same-initial twin names, so was thinking Alice and Althea, but Althea still doesn't seem right. Other contenders were Alice and Ada, but Violet was also a contender. Let me know what you think! The surname would be Valentine, and it would be Alice May and Althea Rose. Help!

Definitely not two As for twins - too confusing and you I’ll regret it.

Alice and Beatrice
Alice and Clara/Cara
Alice and Phoebe
Alice and Flora

Alice and Ada are lovely

I wouldn’t give twins the same initial.

Does it have to be A?

I think Alice Valentine sounds a bit clunky when you say it out loud because you’re repeating the same vowel.

Plus, as someone else said, May and Rose are very overused middle names, and May Valentine sounds like “My Valentine”, whereas Rose next to Valentine sounds like it’s supposed to be a rose for Valentine’s Day. (Bit cheesy IMO.)

Some similar suggestions:

Alicia Valentine (sounds better with the emphasis on the I)
Thea Valentine (no matching initial)

Some good single syllable middle names: Jane, Jean, June, Maud, Claire, Kate.

I like Alice and Anna too. May as a middle name is worse than no middle name. Use Mary instead.
