What do you think of Estella?

Jesus who are the people who immediately think beer rather than Dickens.

Great choice of name

A lot of people I imagine. I read Great Expectations once and was left rather uninspired and never engaged with it again however I see the beer every time im in the supermarket /on holiday.

(evidently the beer has a better marketing team than Dickens 😂)

Prefer Stella.

I like it, but it is a bit frilly. I think Great Expectations first and I'm not aware of the beer. I prefer Stella, even though that's the name of a lager.

It's so beautiful. Really underused too. I know estella in Great Expectations is mean but she's misunderstood really so it shouldn't really have bad connotations

I thought of the beer too. And I used to get really good grades in English lit class! It is a pretty name though. I don’t think most people will make the beer or book association.

It's lovely but Estelle sounds better, less flowery if you know what I mean.

Estella is beautiful, I used to work with the sweetest little girl with this name at a nursery. I love it

Tatiana I probably drink Estrella on a weekly basis so wind your snobby neck in maybe try it haha its a lovely drink & u might loosen up a little!

FWIW i have read most Dickens books & have a bookcase full of classics.

But Estella straight away makes me think of Estrella beer. Sorry!

But please don't shorten to Esty, that's awful! Names don't need to be shortened!

I love the name but...my first thought was Great Expectations too and she's such a mean character.

Reminds me of Joey's agent in Friends! I know an Estella though and she's always referred to as Stella so that will probably happen unless you insist on Esty, which is super cute.

It reminds me of the beer Estrella which is my fave beer so I love the name!!

In all seriousness it's very pretty

I absolutely love it and it was on my list for my DD. Was worried about the Estrella Dam (Estella Damn) thing though.
