Elin is welsh and I think it’s much nicer then Ellen. If you’re in wales, she won’t have issues with spelling or pronunciation.

Is Anna likely to become Ann though? Really don't like that as seems quite old fashioned.

I doubt Anna would become Ann - none I know have that happen.

I know two Anna's. None of them get Ann.
It's a beautiful name and one that good throughout, Elodie is pretty.

Anna is lovely, and I would never think to shorten it to Ann

Anna is the only one with any class. Can be shortened to Annie or Nan, which I rather like.
