We are both agreed on:

Archie William

I know it's seen as a bit of a nickname but we have Scottish connections - both sides and think it is appropriate for that reason. Plus I love the name and always have Smile

If you’ve decided, I’d advise you not to canvas opinions!

@Throughthickandthin01 True!

I'm not personally a fan of Archie (and I don't know what the Scottish connection is, sorry) but it's a fine name, objectively. William is great. Smile

Octopeppa · 06/06/2018 00:19

It's a really nice combination Smile

It's a nice name. Personally not a fan of nicknames as first names, but if you like it then go for it.
Be aware If you share your name choice, people will give their opinions.it can be quite disappointing when someone hates on a name you love and have taken time to think about and pick and are excited for.
That's why me and Husband are not announcing babies name (or sex) until the birth to family/friends.

CathyandHeathcliff · 08/06/2018 20:38

@joeybee We won't be announcing the name until he's born.

@Octopeppa Thank you

@RedDwarves Archie and Archibald are long established names in Scotland and very popular there.
