Which do you prefer?

We have finally decided on Joel Alexander or Spencer Nicholas for a boy, but can't decide on a girls name at all. I think there are almost too many we like (and we like them equally). It's difficult to narrow down the list. We're not sure on middle names yet, maybe we'll use a family name. But, for first names, which of the following do you prefer? :)

Wow, a lot of love for Alexandra - that's a good sign! Thanks for all your replies so far. I think we are definitely leaning towards Alexandra at the moment, middle name Elise or Lily. We really love all the potential nicknames for Alexandra, and its such a beautiful, classic name. It is barely making the top 100 nowadays too - so not likely to be one of 3 in her class which is nice. DH really loves Isabelle too, so maybe Isabelle Elise even. I think Charlotte is definitely off the list though (for a first name, at least) due to its popularity, which is a shame as I do love the name.

We've got a few weeks before little one is meant to arrive, so we've got some time to mull over our top picks, and then see what suits him/her on arrival. :)

Alexandra, by a country mile. Isabel (and all the other spellings) is beyond popular, as is Lily. There will be millions in the same school. Elise just isn’t very nice to me, and will end up being Ellie which is also super popular and boring. Alexandra is classic and beautiful and not over used. Several options for NN if you want them.

Charlotte, Lily or Elise. I like Isobel, spelled this way. Sorry, dislike Alexandra.

Alexandra is a lovely name. However, it will always get shortened and lots of people will misspell it.
