favourite name ever and worst name ever

What are your favourite names and your most disliked names for girl and boy?

Favourite: Heidi💘 , Grayson💙 , Reggie💙 , Reign💙
Dislike: Harriet (sorry🙈) Harrison (sorry🙈)

Have about 100000 names I dislike but off the top of my head: Tyler, Taylor, Mason, Jayden, Kaiden, Mercedes, Levi, anything with May/Mae/Rae/Ray/Lee/Leigh/Rose added to it, Lola, Lexi, Georgina, Chloe, Kai, Connor, Callum, Molly, Millie, Chanel, Alfie.

I mean, I could go on .

Names I currently love are: Sebastian, Martha, Arthur, Casper, Alexis, Penelope, Marina, Adeline (Ada for short and Rafferty.

You'd get a better idea by asking people what they think of yours. In which Heidi os cute, the others aren't to my taste.

I like Iilyanna, lillith, martha, eden, xavier, zachariah, noah, gabriel,

I hate Axl.

No babies in my future (perhaps a nice rescue cat in a years time ) but I love the name Lillyanna, it's so sweet! I don't dislike any names but I am heartily fed up with all the Kayden Jayden Hayden boys here and having nothing even slightly different and alllllllll the ruby/lilly/maisy - rose/rosa/mai/mays... Just bugger off and spread out a bit.

Love: Max, Oliver, Annie, Gabriella

Hate: Jayden, Tyler, Molly, Millie, Mia etc... They're all a bit "the c word" to me.

I like classic names mostly. I very much dislike this current race to the bottom of giving your child a pensioner's name. Is reg nice? No it's fucking awful. Have taught too many simpering Ellies so not a fan. And still don't get the Florence or Bella love.

I’m expecting a boy and we have shortlisted this name but with the spelling Jadon.

Huckleberries I think partly just because it seems to be everywhere right now, along with rhyming names like Hayden/Kayden/Brayden/etc. Similar to why people dislike all the names like Lily-Mae/Ruby-Jai/Darcie-May etc, they’re very popular right now.

Love not wacky but not common names I know 20 of eg. Luke, Carly, Asa, Willow.

Dislike all the boring, overused names-
Ella, Ellie, Lily, Oliver, Olivia

The animal ones-
Clover, Daisy (cows)
Bella is the name of a million dogs round here.

One of my DDs has a Mumsnet hated ‘chavvy’ K name but I’m common and chavvy anyway my family tell me

Grayson and Reign are not names so I don't think you are sticking to the rules of your own game.

I've certainly never heard of a Reign (though Raine is a name). Grayson is though.

I know a Grayson (in his 40s, probably) and I think Grayson is Grayson Perry's real name.

Worst names: Amber, Gemma, Emily but only because they remind me of people I don't like!!
Also irrationally dislike Peter...I have no idea why! I think I don't like how it sounds in my accent.

Hate Max, Samuel, Josh, Liam, John (or any other proper older man name Paul, Phil, Craig ect)
Hate Chloe, Maisy, Lucy, Heidi and Jessica.

Names I love - Elizabeth (especially with shortening Libby), Saoirse (which I could never use being English but I still love), Amelia, Isobel (despite its popularity), charlotte, rowan

Dislikes - something-mai/May/Mae, Stanley, olive, ottilie, James for a girl,

Hate: Tracey and Sharon type names, Jade, Michael

Names I love. Wow so many. Just did a massive list for help. Love Evangeline, Juliet, Martha, Eloise, Genevieve, Vivienne, Isabel, Delilah, Eleanor, Francesca, Emily, Hannah, Niamh. Loads more but there's a few

Hate: anything hyphenated especially names with May, rae/ray, Rose. E.g. lily-may etc, anything like jayden/kayden/zayden etc, Mercedes, Portia, Destiny,chardonnay and also hate really posh sounding names like Clementine, Cordelia, Florence, Petronella etc etc just because I'm not posh lol.

Also agree with @witchesglove. My mum is Sharon though lol hate very 70s sounding names like Carol, Brenda, Barbara etc. Prefer them to hyphenated and names like destiny though.
