We've come across this name today. Mn will likely be James surname is double barrelled but normal. It means immortal or divine which I think is nice.

Ambrose is a great name. Screw the surburban parents that think he will get bullied, probably by their kids.

To me it's a flat-capped Yorkshireman in his 80s, sorry. I think there was one in the James Herriot books.
