Just musing really. For a baby we may potentially adopt. The bio parents are Polish so we want something with a nod to his or her heritage.

Thoughts?

Laura, it's so classy and widely recognised across lots of different countries.

kimlo · 21/05/2018 15:43

Zosia is the polish Sofia and lovely.

Does the baby not come with a name?

MammieBear · 21/05/2018 16:33

Diana is Popular as is Victor

BubblesInMyTea · 21/05/2018 16:57

Baby hasnt been born yet. He or she is the sibling to my three adopted daughters. We adopted our youngest form birth and bio mum had no interest in making her so presume it'll be the same this time. If bio mum does choose a name we will consider it as a first name but definitely have as a middle name.

In that case I would definetly consider Zosia purely because it's one of my favourite names. I have no real link to Poland, I just really like the name. I first heard it when I went to school with one. Sofia is very popular.

For a boy I like Adrian.

kimlo · 21/05/2018 17:16

or Natalia.

BubblesInMyTea · 21/05/2018 18:01

Zosia is adorable not sure my wife will like it though.

Natalia already taken 😀

Laura.

myusernameisnotmyusername · 21/05/2018 18:44

I have a Sofia. Her dad's grandad was Polish and DP has a Polish name so we thought it would be nice to keep the heritage there. I also like Zosia.

buttercup54321 · 22/05/2018 22:09

Julia
Michael

LoveInTokyo · 22/05/2018 22:21

Not keen on Damian, it makes me think of the antichrist! The rest are nice though.

Donotbequotingmeinbold · 22/05/2018 22:24

Laura and Daniel are my faves from your list.

RedDwarves · 22/05/2018 22:33

I like Zosia too.

Or Magdalena.

DramaAlpaca · 23/05/2018 13:08

I love Zosia. I know a couple who spell it Zosha, pronounced the same, to make it easier for English speakers. The child's mum is Polish.

17caterpillars1mouse · 23/05/2018 13:35

I also love Zoshia

From your list I like Sofia and Daniel best

KitXi · 23/05/2018 13:43

Laura is pretty, and very rare for little ones these days. Sofia is very commonly used. I think you'd constantly be spelling Aron. I like Damien but you'd have a lot of 666 comments! Adrian is very nice, once again not common for little ones.
