Which do you prefer?

Really struggling with boys names and these are the top two contenders (with Flynn in 3rd place)

Unless you have Slavic roots - i’d go with Evan.
And it goes fine with your DD’s name.
Plus - he’ll be his own person - and their names don’t need to fit beyond a few years when they are tiny and you need to call them both to dinner, etc...

I much prefer Evan but I see what you mean about the similarity in sound to Merryn
