Isobel - beautiful, although I quite like Lucy.

Isobel but I'm biased as my dsd is called Isabelle.. We call her Izzy

Lucy

Pixel99 · 14/05/2018 18:44

Is Isobel the Scottish version of Isabel? I prefer Isabel but it is v popular but not as popular as Isabelle or Isabella. So I would say Lucy.

IVflytrap · 14/05/2018 18:45

Lucy. I don't know any, while I know loads of young Isabelle/Isabel/Isobels.

Mybabystolemysanity · 14/05/2018 18:45

Isobel. We were going to use Isobelle as a MN if current pregnancy had been a girl.

Bellaposy · 14/05/2018 18:47

Isobel.

Emelene · 14/05/2018 18:49

I think Lucy. I love the sound of Isobel but I think the multiple spelling variations would cause confusion.

felicitythemangyfox · 14/05/2018 18:49

Lucy, but it's a close one.

MooChops89 · 14/05/2018 18:50

Lucy, but I'm biased as it's the name I've given my 2 week old DD Smile

The3 · 14/05/2018 18:51

Isobel

starsandstuff · 14/05/2018 18:54

Lucy over Isobel but Isabella over both.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 14/05/2018 18:55

Lucy

Sophronia · 14/05/2018 18:58

Isobel

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 14/05/2018 19:00

Lucy. I know way too many Isabelles/Isabellas/Isabels/Isobels.

TheOnlyWaysTitsUp · 14/05/2018 19:02

Lucy.

Both are lovely names, and 10 years ago I'd have preferred Isobel. But now there are too many Isabellas/Isabelles/Isobels, and it'd be good to have a name that isn't so overused.

Allgirlskidsanddogs · 14/05/2018 19:03

I like both.

Lucy gets my vote.

I know many Isobels, Isabels and variations on the spellings and nicknames, but not many Lucys.

hildabaker · 14/05/2018 19:04

I think Isobel is more fashionable right now but both are elegant names.

MikeUniformMike · 14/05/2018 19:05

Lucy because I don't like Izzy. Both are very nice. Would go for Isabel as a spelling.
