Thoughts on Florian for a boy?

I'm working with 2 x Florian's at the moment (both Germans) and like it.
However it's a little unusual as a typical British name - but if you want that/like that then great.

I like it but had you thought of Fabian? That's close-ish.

Or Dorian as in The Picture of Dorian Gray.

The Florian i know is German. He's known as Flo.

I’ve never heard of a British Florian but as people say, it is popular in France and Germany. I work with one who is very attractive.

You can't saddle a kid with a name like Florian, you might as well call him Norris...

How about Fabian? Or Tristan?
