Hi all, I’m hoping you can help! We’re expecting out second child, a boy, and we’re really struggling to agree on a name! My family is Italian and we love Italian nicknames, but would quite like a British name. Our daughter is Rosanna - Rosa. I’ve had some ideas but OH not so keen.
Nicholas - Nico
Frederic - Rico
Laurence - Enzo
Any other suggestions? TIA!!xx

I think for a British used name with an Italian shortening, you can’t get better than Nicholas-Nico.

Leonard-Leo or Lino
Laurence-Loris
Marcus-Marco
Andrew-Ando
Lachlan-Lan
Eric-Rico
Hugo-Ugo
Vincent-Vico

Matthew/Matteo - Teo (pronounced "Tay-oh")
