Baby girl with no name...

GrumpyMooCow · 29/04/2018 20:54

My baby girl was born on Friday and we came home from hospital yesterday. However, she has no name yet! DP and I have managed to get down to a few names we agree on and I'd love some thoughts from others, please:

Emily
Lily
Sophie
Alice
Isabelle
Chloe
Elsie
Hazel
Clover

Thank you!

Congratulations!! I vote Hazel, it's really beautiful!

BevBrook · 29/04/2018 20:58

I think they are all lovely. Some of my favourite names in there so we obviously have similar taste. Are you a What Katy Did fan with the Elsie and Clover?

I think my favourites there are Emily, Sophie and Elsie. Isabelle is lovely but there are so many around here I would tend to go for one of the many other beautiful names on your list.

Ikeameatballs · 29/04/2018 20:59

Elsie

calzone · 29/04/2018 21:00

Love Elsie but prefer Eliza.

Aprilmightbemynewname · 29/04/2018 21:00

All on your list are over used - except Hazel.

And Clover is a butter so please don't do it.

Hazel is lovely!!

Clothesaddict · 29/04/2018 21:00

I think Emily, you can never go wrong with that!

blinkowl · 29/04/2018 21:01

Another vote for Hazel.

Mamabear1475 · 29/04/2018 21:02

Hazel Grin

BurtTyrannosaurusMacklin · 29/04/2018 21:02

Hazel is lovely, I’d go with that!

KellyMarieTunstall2 · 29/04/2018 21:02

Hazel

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 29/04/2018 21:03

Would it be possible for you to put a picture so we can see what name she looks like.

greatbiggiraffe · 29/04/2018 21:03

Congratulations! I love the name Sophie and that would definitely be my choice.

AppleFlapjack · 29/04/2018 21:04

Elsie!

All the names are lovely but some very popular and a bit "samey" like Lily, Emily & Sophie.

MiniAlphaBravo · 29/04/2018 21:04

Alice is my favourite overall but I do also like Hazel and Clover, though Alice is more of a classic. Maybe Alice Clover, depending on your surname. Congratulations

BevBrook · 29/04/2018 21:04

I knew there would be “Clover is a butter”. It is also a pretty name, and was a pretty name way before it was a butter.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/04/2018 21:24

Clover, very pretty.

helpmum2003 · 29/04/2018 21:31

All lovely - Alice is my favourite. Congratulations!

Sophronia · 29/04/2018 21:31

Hazel or Clover

Sophronia · 29/04/2018 21:32

Alice is nice too. Congratulations OP!

HankyPanky04 · 29/04/2018 21:33

I agree with Aprilmightbemynewname. Hazel gets my vote!

pumpkinpie01 · 29/04/2018 21:34

How about mixing Elsie up and having Elise ?

jigglepiggle · 29/04/2018 21:37

Sophie was going to be my girl name if I had a girl! But I agree there will be lots of Sophie’s around. I’ve never heard of a Clover, it’s lovely! Let us know what you decide on!

KeepCalm · 29/04/2018 21:39

Congratulations!!

All the names are lovely but in a similar style to Clover what about

Briar
Blythe
Ferne

glitterbiscuits · 29/04/2018 21:52

Clover is lovely.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 29/04/2018 21:57

Alice or Emily, from your list. Congratulations OP!

Pearl
Clementine
Camille
