Girl names, need help deciding

We can't choose between:

Polly, Alice, Mabel and Clara.

I think I've fallen a little bit in love with Polly. So it's a very strong contender as you don't hear it very often either.

I love Mabel but am aware I'm very much in the minority. Second favourite is Alice, third Clara. Not keen on Polly.

Oh my goodness, Polly, Mabel and Alice are all brilliant! Clara is ok but I'm much less excited about it.

Alice is reeeeally popular, tons in my baby groups, although it is cool.

Mabel is amazing, I really love it.

Polly is my absolute favourite. I really wanted to name dd Polly but dh wasn't keen.

I don't see Polly as being a very good name on an adult at all - Polly the lawyer, Dr Polly.. Doesn't seem right (too cutesy), but maybe that's just me. If you do go for Polly, just avoid using Esther as her middle name!

I used to want Polly for my DD. Then Kym Marsh off Corrie had a Polly and it made me anxious.

Anyway DH refused. Pretty Polly, Polly put the kettle on, Pollyfiller, Pollywollydoodle...
he had many and varied reasons against it.

We chose one of the others on your list. Not Alice because I worried she could have a lisp and it's a bit sickly sweet.

Polly sounds like a nickname to me. Also a parrot. So one of the others.

When I was young and dinosaurs ruled the earth, Polly was a pet name for Mary. No idea why.
