So we have a girls name locked we're both happy with it ( Grace) but my DH doesn't like a single boys name... I keep reading through lists of names but no success. It also doesnt help that a lot of our friends have boys and so the following names are taken :

Alfie
Albie
Jack
William
Harry
Charlie
Matthew
Daniel

The only name he's even tried to suggest is Freddie after his grandfather but Im not in love with it. I quite like short names or names with an O / X / Z in

Realise thats not much to go on but Im losing my mind reading lists of names with no joy, any suggestions welcome !

My boss is called Xav , really like it but it kinda rules it out

I do like Max, Leo maybe Zack, it does remind me of saved by the bell though haha

Thanks everyone keep them coming I think I'll need to write him a list to short list!

We have a Grace and our boys’ names were

Guy
Hugh
Edmund (nn Ned)

I think we like names with the letter ‘u’ in them!

Baby2018 · 26/04/2018 18:06

I do like Guy and Hugh myself but hubbie doesn't 🙄

Rex and Zeb are cute is there a long version of Zeb that's not Zebedee ( I'm old enough to remember the magic roundabout so not keen on Zebedee )

Zebulon, like Grandpa Walton.

MerryMarigold · 27/04/2018 17:21

Zebulun is a great name. One of Joseph's brothers like Benjamin and Asher (gaining popularity).

MerryMarigold · 27/04/2018 17:22

Rex is definitely a dog!
