Girls name advice

DC2 due in June. I have my heart set on the name Erin for a girl.

I'd like to honour my side of the family in the middle name- DS has dh name as middle name. My options are below:

Grace
Elizabeth
Jane
Rayner (if family on here this will be outing-was my grandmas middle name but could consider spelling differently-raina/rayna)

Any thoughts?

Erin Grace is lovely.

You could have Erin Grace Rayner.

ILikeMyChickenFried · 26/04/2018 15:25

I genuinely like all of your options. Unusual for a baby names thread!

Erin Rayner Grace is nice.

Erin Rayner Jane

Aprilmightbemynewname · 26/04/2018 16:09

How is Erin pronounced where you live? Our neighbours had an Erin but her dm called her Urin!!

AnyaMoondial · 26/04/2018 16:57

I think Rayner is fab as a middle name. Erin Rayner is perfect.

Dogsrbarking · 26/04/2018 17:04

I like Erin Rayner Jane

GrumpySausage · 26/04/2018 17:55

So pleased Rayner seems popular. I've always liked it and thought my dh would veto it but he is a fan too.

I really like the sound of Erin Rayner. Erin Grace Rayner if you fancy a double middle.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/04/2018 18:03

Erin Jane.

bloomsburyer · 26/04/2018 18:07

Erin Grace

Reyna is a popular Spanish name meaning queen. I've always liked it. Rayner as it is is nice too though!

GrumpySausage · 27/04/2018 05:56

April sorry just saw your question. I'm in the Midlands so everyone seems to pronounce it eh-rin.

Thanks for everyone's comments

Erin Elizabeth

KnockMeDown · 27/04/2018 07:58

My first thought was Erin Grace Rayner, and then I saw Love's post!

Rayner is unusual, but as you are using it as a middle name, I think it really works. And as you are using the name in honour of your relative, I think you should stick with the original spelling

Would love to know what you decide on.

Smile

donnaeastman · 27/04/2018 09:07

Erin Jane would be great and lovely for your dc. :)

GrumpySausage · 22/06/2018 09:36

Hello all, as promised an update. Erin Elizabeth was born on Wednesday. 8lb 11oz and breech!

We decided to go with Elizabeth as a middle name in honour of my Mum and great Grandma.
