I had a baby boy a couple of days ago and hubster and I just can't decide on a name. I have a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl already. The name has to be traditional and English, due to my husbands family traditions. I'd love to call him Jayden but hubby says no. Baby is a real little prince and want a name that suits him. Help please.

What about Jason? It’s pretty close to your pick but traditional and not very commonly used?

He can still be little Jay for short?

Jerry. Still a J, but not as clumsy as Jayden. Any good?

PinkCalluna · 25/04/2018 22:49

Sorry pressed post too soon. It’s a Biblical name but also a pretty cool hero in Greek Mythology (Jason and the Argonauts)

It means healer.

FastWindow · 25/04/2018 22:50

I think you'll need to pick a classic name, and you should definitely run it past your GMIL.

PinkCalluna · 25/04/2018 23:01

The laugh is Fast that I’m a Republican and not in the least bit bother what the new Prince is called.

FastWindow · 25/04/2018 23:02

And maybe look into what would work best with a surname your child won't actually have, hmm. Hard times

FastWindow · 25/04/2018 23:03

Sucked in beautifully though Pink hats off, nice op.

My neighbour's child is called Jayden. She also has a Kai.

Siblings of the Jaydens I have known have been Cayden, Hayden, Jordan, Callum, Ryan, Logan.
