No!!!

Lotsofplanetshaveanorth · 10/04/2018 19:37

Chocolate shop in Australia that overserves with ludicrous portions - so nope. Brianna also quite Aussie and Brenda sounds dated to me - though perhaps due a comeback?

Ohyesiam · 10/04/2018 19:38

No!

TatianaLarina · 10/04/2018 19:59

Was she conceived in the Brenner Pass?

Marv1nGay3 · 10/04/2018 20:02

How about Briony?

Gaelach · 10/04/2018 20:03

My first thought was Bruce Jenner...

OrlandaFuriosa · 10/04/2018 20:03

TatianaLarina, that’s what I thought and cruel young men will call her Pass.

SoupyNorman · 10/04/2018 20:05

As in Yul?

Heratnumber7 · 10/04/2018 20:08

Or Brona?

eggcellent · 10/04/2018 20:13

I think Brenna is much nicer than Brenner. Just looks more feminine.

TatianaLarina · 10/04/2018 21:16

Or worse it sounds like rhyming slang.

DullAndOld · 10/04/2018 21:22

rhyming slang for ....tenner?

TatianaLarina · 10/04/2018 21:25

Brenner Pass - arse.

TatianaLarina · 10/04/2018 21:26

(My post at 21.16 was to OrlandaFuriosa)

OrlandaFuriosa · 12/04/2018 23:25

Tatiana, yes, really not good...

chezmk1988 · 13/04/2018 11:20

Def wouldn't do it

MadMaryBoddington · 13/04/2018 19:32

It sounds like an insult to me - “He’s a right brenner, he is.”

poorlyperson · 15/04/2018 20:50

Jenna?

Brianna?

buttercup54321 · 15/04/2018 21:07

yes pregnancy hormones are running riot,

Brenda
Brienna
Bryony
Briella

Praisebe · 15/04/2018 21:10

Briar is a nice name like Briar Rose

RavenWings · 15/04/2018 21:42

There’s a drama on at the moment called Come Home and one of the main characters is a nut job called Brenna. I think it’s a popular Irish name, don’t really like it though.

No, it really isn't popular in Ireland.
Brenna was a horribly spoilt kid on Toddlers and Tiaras though iirc. I associate it with that - American along the lines of Peyton, Kayleigh, Jaxon/Braxon/Klaxon etc.

JackietheBackie · 15/04/2018 21:45

Jim Fenner was the crooked screw in Bad Girls! I really need to do more pub quizzes!

Echobelly · 15/04/2018 21:45

I'd prefer Brenna with an 'a', sounds more like a girl's name and less like a surname. I'm not mad keen on people giving girls these surname-type names (Mackenzie or Emerson are ones I've heard), don't really know why, tbh, just don't do anything for me.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 15/04/2018 21:50

Grim. Change your own name to Brenner if you like it that much and you deal with a lifetime of having to spell/explain it.
Respect your kid enough not to do that.

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 15/04/2018 22:42

@peeriebear I think that was Fenner
