Due any day now and struggling with girls names. Just not in love with any...

If it’s a boy we are going Rory

For girl we are thinking:

Rosamund (Rosie)
Robyn
Iona
Emilia/Amelia

Any thoughts or other name suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Rosalie
Rosanna
I don't care for the Roz sound, as in Rosamund, prefer Rose. Love Rosie
Emmeline
Adeline
Imogen
Isla
Abigail

Don't like Rosamund. It's too harsh.
Iona is nice but it depends on the surname.
eg I wouldn't use with Carr or Gunn.
Robyn is more of a winter nAme.
Emilia/Amelia are gorgeous although I find Amelia more forced to say than Emilia.

Other suggestions.
Luna. Isla. Rosa. Rowan. Aurora. Ivy. Evelyn. Elodie

Robyn is my favourite.

Also April is lovely since you are having an April baby Smile

I like Rosamund the best out of your listed names. Also like Robyn. They're all nice though.

Iona is my favourite from your list Smile Rosamund and Robyn are cute too

MammieBear · 03/04/2018 20:56

Rosamund is lovely, lots of shortening options as well if she wants to but in full such a lovely name a real winner.

FinnegansCake · 03/04/2018 21:01

Rosalind
Melissa
Lara

chezmk1988 · 03/04/2018 21:48

I like Robyn x

YoucancallmeVal · 03/04/2018 23:34

I know a rosemary who was Mary when little and then from uni ended up as Rosie. I didn't know she was rosemary until a random conversation when she was 40 something!
Iona is a bit harsh to my ears, ditto Robyn.
Like Amelia, though too popular. Emilia is just the same but spelt strangely imo.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 04/04/2018 08:04

I would avoid Amellia purely because there are so many of them. The other names on your list are all beautiful though. Rosamund is particularly lovely and nice to have the nn Rosie but also have a more grown up option for when she gets older.

user2929 · 04/04/2018 09:44

Emilia is beautiful. Much nicer spelling than Amelia.

Thanks all. We had a lovely little girl and went with Rosamund Ann ..... but already known as Little Rosie...which suits her very chubby Rosie cheeks.

0to3sadonions · 20/04/2018 14:00

Wow congratulations OP and welcome to the world little Rosie 💕
