Just that - which do people prefer? Smile

You'll never find a name that everyone likes, you need to decide what you like and learn to deal with the fact that others might not. I'm sure plenty of people dislike my DS's name. I try not to read threads on here where his name comes up tbh.
Good luck, OP, naming a whole person forever is quite a daunting task.
I'd advise not telling anyone IRL the name until the baby comes as you will get some negative reactions even if it's the best name ever. People are more polite after the birth. Generally.

I like both but probably prefer Miles due to popularity of Jude.

Alternatives:

Louis
Samuel
Theo
Christopher
Matthew
Milo
Benjamin
Rory
Joe

You won’t find a name liked by everyone so just use one that you love.

Trendy, biblical names like Jude:
Amos
Ezra
Elijah
Noah
Joshua
Zach

Names which have are similar in style to Miles:
Tobias
Lawrence
Theodore
Alexander
Charlie
Henry
Otto.

I love Jude, and am trying to persuade my dp that he loves it, too! Grin

How about milo?

DiegoMadonna · 28/03/2018 14:24

Miles. Jude is "wet".

NickyNora · 28/03/2018 14:27

Miles is a lovely name.
Flynn is an old favourite of mine.

Coey2016 · 28/03/2018 15:54

Jude.

Coey2016 · 28/03/2018 15:55

Also like the Milo suggestion as an alternative

daisypond · 28/03/2018 16:11

I like them both. I prefer Jude, though.

Theg00dwife · 28/03/2018 18:00

Jude

linz0308 · 29/03/2018 10:12

Miles, I met a little Miles a few weeks ago and thought it was the most adorable name.
I like jude too though.

ladybirdsaredotty · 29/03/2018 12:37

Miles sounds a bit wet to me (no offence to anyone who has used the name, we can't all like the same names and obviously it's a perfectly nice name)!

I love Jude, on the other hand. Almost used it myself but DP not keen.

ladybirdsaredotty · 29/03/2018 12:39

(Ps I would use 'wet' to describe some girl's names, too, and my own son's name, a middle name of Prince George, has been described on here as wet too!)

TatianaLarina · 29/03/2018 15:00

Jude by miles Grin

BrutusMcDogface · 29/03/2018 21:05

@DiegoMadonna I agree. I like Myles. It's cool xx

Ubercornsdiscoball · 29/03/2018 21:58

I have a Jude and love it. I have Miles down on my list for this pregnancy so no help whatsoever!!

autumnmoon · 31/03/2018 12:19

Miles is hideously posh. The only thing I like about it is that if you move the S to the beginning, you get Smile!

Jude is perfect.

What about Milo?
