Narrowed it down to these two. (thought Summer didn't go with surname but making it double barrelled so will flow fine now). Summer or Iris? Thanks

Iris. Summer is not my cup of tea at all

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/03/2018 15:27

Summer is lovely, I find Iris harsh.

starkid · 26/03/2018 17:00

I like both, but I like Summer slightly more :)

Iris.
so glad you didn’t go for Daisy

RidingWindhorses · 26/03/2018 18:32

Prefer Iris but there are an awful lot of them.

CountFosco · 26/03/2018 18:36

Iris is a much classier name than Summer.

daisypond · 26/03/2018 19:50

Iris is miles better than Summer.

MadMaryBoddington · 26/03/2018 20:09

Iris. Beautiful name.

KERALA1 · 27/03/2018 17:30

Noooo stop using Iris! Mine is 12 and I thought I was being quite original but keep hearing the name in the reception playground

KarineAimee · 27/03/2018 18:19

Both are gorgeous! Wait til she arrives and see which suits her better?

CheeseTheDay · 27/03/2018 18:54

Kerala - I know that feeling, as I also have a 12-year old Iris, and it feels like its popularity has skyrocketed since we used it. DH and I like to think it means we have good taste.

To answer the OP - even if I didn't have an Iris, I would still choose Iris out of those, I just think it's a bit classier.

KERALA1 · 27/03/2018 21:50

Cheese Grin great minds. Love it (obviously) really suits dd. Feels like a feminine yet strong name. Like it even more as years go by.

100% Iris

Iris.
If you want to be more original you can say you chose it because she's the apple of your eye, not because of the flower Grin
