I already have a DD called Sophie and we are having another girl...

Is Phoebe too close a name to Sophie?
We also like Chloe and Ava, but prefer Phoebe more....

I think it's fine.

Juststopit · 22/03/2018 20:16

Sounds fine to me! I think Chloe and Sophie sound more alike than Phoebe and Sophie.

PhuntSox · 22/03/2018 20:17

They sound lovely together!

namechangeforthisonepost · 22/03/2018 20:17

Ha ha that's funny, I have a daughter called Phoebe and if we have another I want to call her Sophie Grin

AnyaMoondial · 22/03/2018 20:44

Yep sounds good.

BennyTheBall · 22/03/2018 20:45

I wouldn't like 2 names ending in 'ee' sound, but that's just me.

DeadButDelicious · 22/03/2018 20:47

Phoebe is a beautiful name. Not that I am at all biased.

ChocolateCrunch · 22/03/2018 20:48

I think they sound fine together

nooka · 22/03/2018 20:49

They would be too matchy for me. Not just the 'ee' sound at the end but the 'ph' sound too. Essentially the end of Sophie is the beginning of Phoebe.

KirstenRaymonde · 22/03/2018 20:50

Phoebe and Sophie are fine together, and Phoebe is much nicer than your other choices

Mrsknackered · 22/03/2018 20:54

I think it’s too similar and I don’t like the name Phoebe. Sorry

Stonecirclegal · 22/03/2018 20:59

Love the name Phoebe. Sounds fine with Sophie.

muffyduffster · 22/03/2018 21:01

Agree that the end of one is the start of the other! Fee and fee Smile

TatianaLarina · 22/03/2018 21:01

Course it’s not. I think they sound great together - love Phoebe.

Chloe
Bethany.
sorry really dislike phoebe. think of feeble.

OlennasWimple · 22/03/2018 21:07

I like them individually, but together they are a bit too similar and "run into" each other: Sophoebe

How about Phoebe as a middle name with a different first name? I find it quite hard to say "Sophie and Chloe" for some reason, but there are plenty of other lovely names out there to pick

bridgetreilly · 22/03/2018 21:33

I think they work together really well.
