Do you like the name Summer? What do you think of it? Would be for a Spring baby, would that make a difference? Thanks!

I like the name and being born in spring wouldn't make me think Hmm

I like Summer.

AnyaMoondial · 22/03/2018 11:17

I like it too, it's cheerful.

Egg · 22/03/2018 11:19

I was never all that keen but now I know a lovely one (primary age) and it’s made me like the name a lot.

Speedy85 · 22/03/2018 11:21

I’m on the fence about it.

DH has just jokingly suggested it this morning on the basis that it’s probably the only Summer we’ll get this year as the weather is so bad!

Snowsnake · 22/03/2018 11:23

Beautiful name...

ReversingSnail · 22/03/2018 12:32

It's a lovely name and I don't think the time of year matters.

windchimesabotage · 22/03/2018 12:35

Its lovely and you dont hear it often even though its widely accepted as a name for a girl. Dont think the time of year matters. You get people called May and June and April who are not born in those months!

honeybli · 22/03/2018 13:50

thanks everybody!

I love the name i know two girls with the name Summer and they are both nice, well behaved children.

ChocolateCrunch · 22/03/2018 15:54

I like it, and giving it to a spring baby is fine IMO.

MarissaLou · 22/03/2018 17:04

It's very popular in my area. I wouldn't choose it, mainly because of the popularity, but if you like it, go for it.

For me, she would have to born in summer.

ladybirdsaredotty · 22/03/2018 20:23

Love it, such a cheerful name Smile

albus55 · 22/03/2018 21:38

I have a six month old Summer and people always tell me how beautiful her name is. My husband chose it and I was never 100% sold on it but now I love it and can't imagine her with any other name :)

NameChangeOnTheRegular · 22/03/2018 21:40

I love it. I don't think it would need to be a summer baby, they are called their name year round, after all!

Winchester13 · 22/03/2018 21:41

I like it :) and I like Winter too but only if they were born in winter

mondler · 22/03/2018 22:13

I think it' pretty but its very popular where I am. I don't think the time of year would matter.

Babababababybel14 · 22/03/2018 22:14

Love it. I would steal it for my next baby but it sounds awful with our surname
