I don’t like any of those, sorry.

PineappleExpress · 15/03/2018 08:58

I met an Ottilie recently. She was Ottie for short and I think it's lovely.
I like Molly, too. Not so keen on the others except Florence or Ivy as middle names

AnyaMoondial · 15/03/2018 08:58

I love your list!!! My favourites are Nancy, Iris and Mabel.

NameyMcChangeRae · 15/03/2018 09:02

LOVE Iris, Nancy, Ivy, Emilia and Molly.

Florence, Freya and Mabel are Ok

Dislike - Nora - “flaming Nora”, Betsy (doesn’t feel like a “full” name), Aurelia (reminds me of Areola), Ottillie (pronounced properly it sounds stuck up and wet, pronounced with a dialect will sound like Oddily)

Marv1nGay3 · 15/03/2018 09:06

I love Mabel

VileyRose · 15/03/2018 09:08

I love Nora.

upsideup · 15/03/2018 09:16

Like: Ottilie, Ivy, Iris and Betsy
Dislike: Molly, Florence, Freya, Mabel, Nancy, Emilia, Nora and Aurelia

MammieBear · 15/03/2018 09:25

They are all lovely names, Emilia, Aurelia, iris, Mabel and Ottilie stand out to me nothing wrong with any of them in my opinion, you need to write down each name with your surname and see which looks better also say them out loud and obviously talk through them with you partner. Good luck

IVflytrap · 15/03/2018 09:30

They're all lovely names, and my favourites are Ivy, Iris, Freya, Molly, Mabel, in that order.

Emilia, Freya, Florence and Ivy seem quite popular at the moment. I think I would avoid Emilia with that spelling anyway as everyone will assume she's Amelia until it's spelt out.

Nancy, Ottilie, Mabel, Iris, Betsy and Nora are less popular at the moment, I believe.

Florence is my favourite; I also like Molly and Iris.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/03/2018 09:37

Nancy.

Rhodes2015again · 15/03/2018 09:38

I love Nancy, Nora and Florence. Considered all of these for my little girl.

Love Ottilie, Florence and Nancy. Like Nora and Iris. Freya, Molly, Ivy and Emilia are ok. I really dislike Aurelia. Betsy and Mabel sound like names for farm animals.

twinkledag · 15/03/2018 09:48

Nancy!!

twinkledag · 15/03/2018 09:49

And Molly is my least favourite.

Sophronia · 15/03/2018 09:50

I like Nora and Iris best

Madmarchpear · 15/03/2018 09:54

Freya and Nancy are the best.

Bourgainvillia · 15/03/2018 09:59

I like Ellie if that helps!

chezmk1988 · 15/03/2018 10:23

Iris and Nora but Norah for me

RosieCotton · 15/03/2018 10:33

I loved Molly is was my favorite until a friend of mine said it was a drug term so that put me off. I live Nancy though I think that's adorable xx

deptfordgirl · 15/03/2018 11:02

They're all lovely but my favourites are Florence, Iris and Nancy.

SuperBeagle · 15/03/2018 20:24

Nancy - Dislike. Reminds me of Nancy Spungen or a chain smoking 80 year old.

Molly - Sweet. Always surprises me that this isn't more popular.

Ottilie - Dislike.

Florence - Love.

Freya - Love.

Ivy - I like this, but it is very popular at the moment and I think it might be a bit faddy.

Mabel - See Nancy, but without the chain smoking.

Emilia - Love. Biased as I have one. I do sometimes think we would've made her life easier by naming her Amelia though, as that's how everyone assumes it's spelt.

Iris - Dislike.

Betsy - Dislike. Traditionally a shortening for Elizabeth. I'm an Elizabeth and would recoil in horror if someone called me Betsy.

Nora - Like this.

Aurelia - Hate.
