After much debate we have finally short listed names. Just looking for opinions.

Boys:
Thomas Andrew
Sebastian Andrew
Finley Andrew

Girls:
Ava Zosia
Keira Zosia
Edie Zosia
Niamh Zosia

Just wondering what you would go for or absolutely avoid? (I realise the middle name for a girl would not be everyone’s choice but we have chosen it to keep the Polish connection in the family)

Like Thomas Andrew the most but Finley sounds good too.

Like your girls names, I like your middle name too but the options you have don't sound good together. As always just an opinion

So for girls suggestions are-

Zosia Niamh- this way round!

Or

Rhiannon Zosia
Megan Zosia
Lois Zosia

@user1459464195 we were looking to use my Dad’s name as the middle name if it’s a boy, he’d be so pleased by this (he is unaware) that it just seems right for us. Maybe if we were to have another boy we would go down the polish route.

As for being brave to use Zosia, I think we both just want to go for quite a standard well known name. Yes people will have their opinions on it. But it’s just what we feel most comfortable with, Zosia is still a consideration to be promoted to first name but as it’s only my side of the family with Polish heritage I just don’t want to push it too much :)

Thomas Andrew

And I actually like zosia better than all your first name choices, especially because of the polish connection you have.

I usually say avoid hard to spell / pronounce names as mine is and it's annoying. But Zosia is so lovely and it is easy to pronounce so when people hear the name it'll be fine, it's just the spelling is tricky, but I'd still go for it!

Sebastian and Edie 😊

I like all your boy choices, but my favourite is Sebastian Andrew (so handsome!).

I’m another who likes Zosia as a first name better than your other girl choices. I wasn’t familiar with it before, but it reminds me of my favourite Polish girls’ name, Kasia.

mischiefmanaged01 · 10/03/2018 23:41

@LarkDescending Kasia is a brilliant name, it’s actually my cousins name 😊

I guess we will see if it’s a girl when it’s born and then play the whole what’s going where name game. It will most certainly have Zosia somewhere if it’s a girl though! Thankfully I think we are pretty safe and no one close to us will use it before we get round to it!
