What are your thoughts on Ingrid? I've heard of inky as a nn which is kinda cute

Really like it. Have one adult Ingrid in the family and she's awesome

Lifeaback · 27/02/2018 23:25

I absolutley love it, think it's a beautiful and strong name

I have a relative called Ingrid. She is usually known as Inky or Inks. I really it.

SuperBeagle · 27/02/2018 23:36

I don't like it. It's very harsh sounding, IMO.

JacintaJones · 27/02/2018 23:39

Dislike.
If you are Nordic I'll understand.

I don't like it.

One of the most horrible people I know is called Ingrid, so that probably colours it for me. I think it's so harsh sounding and not a flattering name.

Ooo Indie as a nn i'd not thought of that. I love Indie!

I don't like it. It always sounds a bit grim and grey to me.

CountFosco · 28/02/2018 22:10

DD1 was almost Ingrid so obviously I love it. Inga would be the short form. Sigrid is another similar Norse name, although depending how popular the pop star gets might affect its popularity.

RavenWings · 01/03/2018 21:19

I think it's really beautiful.

Sorry, I hate it. It was the name of the librarian in my old school library. She was awful.
