Which name do you like the most? Have finally got my list down to three but just can’t decide! Amaya is pronounced ah-my-yah. Thanks:)

Amaya just makes me think of PJ Masks.

MikeUniformMike · 20/02/2018 20:19

Jasmine, without a doubt. Amaya sounds made up and Coco sounds like a nickname or a drink.

tissuesosoft · 20/02/2018 20:20

Jasmine! Not that i’m biased Wink

SpottyBrolly · 20/02/2018 20:25

What about Socorro shortened to Coco.

formerbabe · 20/02/2018 20:31

I like them all... lovely names.

ChocolateCrunch · 20/02/2018 20:34

Jasmine

DumbledoresApprentice · 20/02/2018 20:34

I like Amaya. I would have pronounced it the way you said first time.

Butterflies13 · 20/02/2018 20:37

Jasmine in my opinion is becoming very popular - I know around 4 jasmines!

I prefer Amaya- it’s princessy but strong and yet not too popular. I know an amaya but her name is spelt Amiya. Have you considered this?

Not keen on coco

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 20/02/2018 20:38

Jasmine.

MyToeHurtsBetty · 20/02/2018 20:41

Jasmine is beautiful. Coco reminds me of "pops"or "the clown"

Foamshrimp · 20/02/2018 20:46

Jasmine. Reminds me of the song - summer breeze makes me feel fine etc

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 20/02/2018 21:42

Amaya is gorgeous.
I adore Coco. My dd was going to be Nicole nn Coco, until I cottoned on that her initials would have been NOB. Grin, so I went for Molly instead
Jasmine is okay but a bit meh

Enidblyton1 · 20/02/2018 22:28

My friend's DD is Cosima, but her nickname is Coco. I've always really liked it.

NewYearNiki · 20/02/2018 22:44

The new film would put me off Coco. Everyone will think it is because of that.

I like Amaya.

twinkledag · 20/02/2018 22:46

I like Coco and Amaya.

0123fluffyunicorn · 20/02/2018 22:52

Jasmine and amaya are lovely, but coco is a popular pet name and I immediately think Chanel

eggncress · 20/02/2018 23:01

Jasmine is better than Coco which reminds me of Coco the clown.
Amaya is nice but you might have people pronouncing it wrong.

ladybirdsaredotty · 21/02/2018 09:12

I was also going to mention the film connection with Coco. I LOVE the idea of Cosima nn Coco as a PP mentioned, though!

rachrach2 · 21/02/2018 09:20

Amaya (I knew how to pronounce it but agree some won't) is lovely. Unless you have a surname that's a noun.

Jasmine is fine but Coco is pretty awful I think.

17caterpillars1mouse · 21/02/2018 09:20

Cocois cute for a nickname but i would absolutely hate to be Coco as an adult. Imagine having to introduce yourself as Coco. Cringe!

Love Jasmine

Amaya is ok

TulipsInABlueVase · 21/02/2018 22:32

Love Coco.
Jasmine is okay, and safer if that's what you want.
Don't like Amaya.

Gates · 21/02/2018 23:36

Jasmine

windchimesabotage · 21/02/2018 23:37

Love Coco!

fruitpastille · 21/02/2018 23:40

Amaya becomes Owlette! Into the night to save the day...

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 22/02/2018 00:02

Well I work as an "exotic dancer" (read stripper) and both Jasmine and Coco are VERY popular. As in I've worked with multiple of both. I sometimes hear people calling their children out and about in public and when their children share the name of girls I've danced with I inwardly cringe. Not the parents fault obviously, I don't think people realise how common some really beautiful names are in strip clubs. Sorry, that's not particularly helpful I appreciate!
