Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think.

Eilidh
Freya

That is indeed a short list Grin

Of the two I prefer Freya.

NorthernLurker · 10/02/2018 18:56

Well definitely a short list
Are you in Scotland? Because if not, some people will struggle with spelling and pronouncing Eilidh. Not mad keen on Freya either tbh.

Do you want two syllables?

TatianaLarina · 10/02/2018 19:03

Eilish would be easier for people.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/02/2018 19:04

I'm fed up with Freya. FFS it's beyond boring.
Eilidh is gorgeous. I think it's like Niamh. yes it has a very unphonetic spelling. However most people know what the name is and There is no law that says you spell
It phonetically say Ayley Aylee Aylie or Aileigh. Ailee.

TatianaLarina · 10/02/2018 19:06

Yeh waaaay too many Freyas. It’s not even nice.

NorthernLurker · 10/02/2018 19:14

I like Freya but it's unfortunately a bit too popular imo.

I'm not keen on Eilidh.

Freya is lovely.

indigo13 · 11/02/2018 15:23

Freya is a wet name sorry

MikeUniformMike · 11/02/2018 17:00

Freya is nice but she will be one of many, and will probably be known as Freya Attic.
Eilidh is gorgeous, but will cause problems outside Scotland.
The names don't seem particularly similar.

Petalflowers · 11/02/2018 22:34

Love Freya.
