Sorry me again. OH suggested Blayke.
What do you think of the Blayke for a baby girl?

April is really lovely.

Blayke not so much.

DontFuckingSayIt · 03/02/2018 20:45

Absolutely no need for the y, looks ridiculous and like you couldn't spell it.

Newbie89 · 03/02/2018 20:55

Blake is lovely.. not with the Y though.
Also I can't help but notice the initials spell out a very unfortunate word Blush

pilates · 03/02/2018 20:57

Awful, sorry

Speakingmymind · 03/02/2018 20:58

Sorry, really chavvy

Kokeshi123 · 04/02/2018 23:34

Bleak.

And it's a boy's name.

Panting · 04/02/2018 23:38

Awful, sorry.

peachypetite · 04/02/2018 23:39

Why the extra y?

Abouttoblow · 04/02/2018 23:45

Regardless of the actual name why why why the ridiculous spelling??????
All you're doing is guaranteeing your child a lifetime of having to explain that they're parent couldn't read/spell

Thistlebelle · 04/02/2018 23:50

April Boyce would be very pretty and sounds like a good strong name.

BackforGood · 05/02/2018 00:11

OP agreed on the previous page.
She said she's not going to use it after all. Grin

k2p2k2tog · 05/02/2018 08:22

Blake's a boys name surely? And definitely not Blayke!

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 05/02/2018 09:05

I know you’ve said you’re not keen anymore op, but, fwiw, I hate Blake for a boy, but I really like it for a girl.

Blayke; I think she’d be always be correcting people on the spelling. Unless there’s a particular reason for the y, I wouldn’t put it in there.

harrietm87 · 05/02/2018 21:02

Blake Lively is a girl (obvs). I don't think it's so bad.

Blayke is a hideous and pointless spelling though.

GeorgeTheHamster · 06/02/2018 13:54

So are you back to April then? April is nice 😄

GeorgeTheHamster · 06/02/2018 13:55

Not Apryl though

HappyLollipop · 06/02/2018 13:59

Blake is OK but I still find it odd as a girls name but Blayke is awful! I'm glad to hear you've gone back to the drawing board OP.

Figgygal · 06/02/2018 14:02

it is ridiculous for either gender sorry

MikeUniformMike · 06/02/2018 14:02

How about Flayke?

lolarocco · 06/02/2018 14:05

Blayke sounds like a cleaning product.

Blake (for a BOY) is a nice name (think there was a Blake on Home and Away decades ago)

MikeUniformMike · 06/02/2018 14:11

Blake Carrington in Dynasty

Discobabe98 · 06/02/2018 14:19

Just take the y out! Blake is nice for a girl, simple yet strong- I really like it.

The elder daughter on the show ‘Outdaughtered’ with the Busby quintuplets is a Blayke, but they’re American so maybe it’s more common there? Still, not a fan of that spelling
