What do you think of the names Bonnie or Connie as a girls name ? Her siblings are called Zara, Alfie, Jack, Ava, George and Katie ?

Advice please lovelies :)

Seems that on here people are obsessed with siblings names matching and if you agree they need to, they don't. But both are pretty names. I'd choose Connie.

MyBrilliantDisguise · 27/01/2018 17:15

They are both nicknames rather than full names, though, aren't they? The other siblings' names are full names.

Bigfamily10 · 27/01/2018 17:17

Not too concerned about them matching but it was more for reference to reflect the type of names we usually go for :)

I like Connie best.

PuppyMonkey · 27/01/2018 17:19

I like Connie but I LOVE Constance.

PuppyMonkey · 27/01/2018 17:20

Also, SEVEN KIDS? Shock

HolgerDanske · 27/01/2018 17:22

Oh god I thought it was for twins. In which case it’d be a resounding no from me.

I think I’d like Bonnie more, although I’d want it to be a diminutive and not the actual name. I forget what it’s short for...

Petalflowers · 27/01/2018 17:25

I thought it was for twins also, and thought No!

Alfie, Jack and Katie are nicknames now often used as full names, just like Connie. Bonnie is a full name in its own right. I'm not that keen on Connie and I know a lovely woman called Bonnie, so that would be my preference, I suppose, although I'd worry that my daughter might find it difficult later on if she found it difficult to live up to her name - as in making her a bit more sensitive to her appearance. I could imagine that a woman who thought she was perhaps a bit plain could struggle with being called Bonnie.

This is a bit of a random suggestion but what about Iris? I think that's a gorgeous name, and a beautiful flower. Seems to me to go with the other names pretty well.

I know a Connie and a Bonnie (different families!), both under 7. I like both names, but Connie is probably my favourite, but only just.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 27/01/2018 18:07

Connie

lizzlebizzle33 · 27/01/2018 18:12

Love Bonnie ❤️

FuckyDucky · 27/01/2018 18:14

Connie is lovely.
Much nicer than Bonnie.

AnyaMoondial · 27/01/2018 19:32

Bonnie is fabulous, Connie sounds a bit like a nn of another name to me, although it's also nice.

RapunzelLetDownYourHair7 · 27/01/2018 21:47

I love both but I would go with Bonnie

annandale · 27/01/2018 21:51

Bonnie. I love Constance but not so keen on Connie.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 27/01/2018 21:55

Connie is lovely. Calling a child Bonnie is a lot to live up to in my opinion. Smile

JenTeale · 27/01/2018 22:05

Bonnie; it's an ace name, assertive sounding but also cute, goes well with your sibset.

SuperBeagle · 28/01/2018 08:55

Bonnie is a great name.

howthelightgetsin · 28/01/2018 09:39

The other siblings' names are full names.
Alfie, Jack and Katie?

howthelightgetsin · 28/01/2018 09:40

I think I prefer Bonnie by the way OP if both are quite “happy” names (if that makes sense)

howthelightgetsin · 28/01/2018 09:40

*but both
