Thoughts on this name?

It's more traditional and popular than I would naturally go for but dh loves it and its growing on me. Not a fan of nn Teddy which sees very popular around here but dont mind Eddie or Ted.

Anyone have one?

Well I’ve got a Edward and he’s called Ned - nothing wrong with that...

CakeRattleandRoll · 27/01/2018 23:04

I have a 5yo Edward. He's been Teddy up till now, just starting to move onto Ted. Although he still gets Bear quite a lot. Love it!

Ikeameatballs · 27/01/2018 23:07

It's Ds's middle name and I love it esp nn Ted which was my GFs nn.

I also like Edwin, less keen on Edmund.

LaBelleSauvage123 · 27/01/2018 23:11

Why is Ned ‘just wrong’? Because of the Scottish slang?

Hellywelly10 · 27/01/2018 23:17

I've known as couple of eddies, lovely guys. Ted and Ned are also nice. Edmond is horrendous, did love blackadder though.

NewYearNiki · 28/01/2018 02:20

Love it

MikeUniformMike · 28/01/2018 19:39

Yes. Ned is not a good name in Scotland.

CocoLoco87 · 28/01/2018 19:41

I like Edward. I love Eddie but would probably choose Edwin as the full name.

EggsonHeads · 28/01/2018 19:42

I like let it but wasn't there that vampire thing. Like Harry Potter but with vampires and slightly older children. I don't remember anymore.

EggsonHeads · 28/01/2018 19:42

Remembered. Robert Patterson was a vampire called Edward and there was lots of red and black and a brunette involved.

Zaya71 · 28/01/2018 19:51

I love it. (but Edmund is my all time favourite boys name).

MotherOfBeagles · 28/01/2018 19:58

My 12 week old Edward is currently asleep in my arms. We love it. It's the only boy name we agreed on and it totally suits him!

MrsDilber · 28/01/2018 20:07

Edward's a lovely name. Ted, Teddy, Ed, Eddie.
