Roman or Reuben

I have a little boy called Lucas and we're looking for a boys name for his baby brother. We are finding it hard to agree a name we both like. We are currently torn between Reuben or Roman?
What do you think? Or if there are any other names you think would go well with Lucas we're open to suggestions.

My sons name is Roman..fuck Roman Polanski. I won’t have that piece of filth ruining a perfectly good strong name. By that measure I’m sure every male name in history had been “ruined” at some point.

Roman’s a great name. I’d never let an arsehole put me off a good name.

Don’t like Reuben.

I like both bur prefer Reuben for its nickname potentials (Roo, Ben, Benny etc)

My DH is dead set on Roman. I like it, don't love it. I fear it's one of those names that could become a bit chavvy.
Not sure I like Reuben though so out of your choices I'd go for Roman

How about Matthias instead of Matteo?

I know a Romain (French so not actually pronounced Roman but has lived here so long that’s it’s anglicised to be pronounced that way) and I love the name. Other than Adolf, I don’t think we can allow ourselves to be put off of names because if one baddie in history with the same name otherwise there’d be no Freds, Harrys, Roses etc etc
