Make me a name combo....

Please help me name a potential sister for Ottilie. Surname is Gattor so no first names that use nn 'Ally' and no initials that spell anything awful (HAG/FAG etc). I'd for certain use Allegra as first name if our surname was different.

I like old names which are less commonly used, nice meanings a bonus.

Current long list is (no particular order).....Claudia, Alice, Polly, Clara, Celestia, Arabella, Beatrix, Cecily, Tabitha, Flora, Delilah, Genevieve, Emmeline, Margot, Gloria, Millicent, Heidi, Leila, Allegra, Theodora (teddy), Felicity (Felix).

Looking for first name and middle name combos please!

A very good point hopeful, I think that rules out Romilly too!

Emmeline Heidi
Flora Millicent
Celestia Blossom

Was going to suggest Romilly. Goes very well with Ottilie and Gattor.

Romilly Alice
Romilly Kate
Romilly Iris

Emily, Anaïs, Clemmency middle names Violet or Nancy.

I like Aurelie and Aurelia but it’s going a bit towards Aligator...

TatianaLarina · 14/01/2018 22:23

I know a Romilly and an Ottlie - either are called Milly or Tilly.

TatianaLarina · 14/01/2018 22:23

Neither nor either.

ruralmother · 14/01/2018 22:30

Ok, our possible combos so far....
Romilly Alice
Cecily Allegra
Claudia Alice
Nancy Allegra

I love Romillly Alice. If not Molly might get Romy as nn which is nice too.

Nancy Allegra Gattor... NAG. I would avoid that one!

ruralmother · 14/01/2018 22:35

haha, I didn't think NAG was too bad. Husband joked it was as close as I'd get to a horse for my push present....

Ooh I love your choice of names......

Adding Oriele and Eliza into the mix....

LexieLulu · 14/01/2018 22:38

My daughter Alice has been nn Ali by her nan (which I'm against as I don't want her name shortening) so thought I'd give you heads up as Alice is on your list xx

RidingWindhorses · 14/01/2018 22:44

Love Romilly. I know one and her nickname is Romi.

Romilly Alice
Cecily Allegra
Claudia Alice
Nancy Allegra

Like all these except Claudia.

Otillie with Romilly, Cecily or Nancy all sound lovely. And sound good with your surname.

Claudia Alice is lovely. As is Romilly Alice. Both fit well against your DD's name.

PanannyPanoo · 14/01/2018 23:34

bloody hell I actually thought of the initials too. My innocent brain though of vag rhymes with bag. rather than badge.
So yes. Yes I did suggest Vag.
This is what happens after 10 years of watch cbeebies!
