I really love it but can't use with our surname (which is similar to Hooper). Please use it on my behalf!

BilliesBollocks · 12/01/2018 10:56

I went to school with a girl called Juniper. Her family were eccentric and posh.

She got called "Junipple" for the first couple of years of secondary school which then morphed into her just being called "tits".

BertrandRussell · 12/01/2018 10:58

Go for Juno

Estellanpip · 12/01/2018 11:02

I adore it. Beautiful in its own right.

Shmithecat · 12/01/2018 11:03

I think of the song Jennifer Juniper. And then I think of the cover that Trevor and Simon did of that record. So no. Not great.

Estellanpip · 12/01/2018 11:03

It reminds me of another name I think is underrated, too: Perdita

SingingSeuss · 12/01/2018 11:04

I prefer Juno (or June but Juno's more current)

florascotianew · 12/01/2018 13:12

How about Ginevra, which is often seen as a version of Juniper - though it's more usually said to be the Italian for Guinevere.

I know there's a Harry Potter association, but it's a positive one and surely that can't last forever...

Luckingfovely · 12/01/2018 14:42

Tabitha, Saskia and Perdita are all gorgeous too!

*considers having another dd in order to use Perdita...

TheVanguardSix · 12/01/2018 14:43

I think 'Gin' and I hate gin.

littlebillie · 12/01/2018 14:49

Love

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 12/01/2018 14:49

Love it

lovelyjubilly · 12/01/2018 17:29

OP my other two are called Jemima and Cleo 😊

strawberrypenguin · 12/01/2018 18:42

I really like it

MikeUniformMike · 12/01/2018 18:56

I like it and it makes me think of gin.

Bibijayne · 12/01/2018 19:36

Juniper is very pretty :)

thamesk8 · 14/01/2018 23:03

@lovelyjubilly amazing. Both on my list this time!!! Grin

Really not keen on it, sorry! It doesn’t sound very feminine to me and I’m not keen on the nn June. I can see the appeal for a pet name

RidingWindhorses · 14/01/2018 23:09

It's a horse or a dog.

Juno is great though.

RidingWindhorses · 14/01/2018 23:10

She got called "Junipple" for the first couple of years of secondary school which then morphed into her just being called "tits".

😆Shit.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 14/01/2018 23:13

I'm not crazy about it, but I don't hate it!

cheshiremama89 · 14/01/2018 23:16

Beautiful ThanksJune is such a nice NN

KenForPM · 14/01/2018 23:19

It’s just not a name to me. It does seem a bit out of keeping with Tabitha and Saskia. Perdita fits better.

MyOtherProfile · 14/01/2018 23:21

We had this not long ago didn't we?

MyOtherProfile · 14/01/2018 23:23

Yes! I remember now!
