I know a Vivi (VeeVee)

I know of a Viva

Friends did gets Gee.

I'm not called it but potential nns aside from Gen Jen.
Vivi. Evie. Eve.

The Genevieve I know is Gen. Gen suits her. Genevieve, not so much.

I knew of a baby Genevieve referred to as Genie, as in the Genie and the lamp.

My own personal Genevieve is Genie

@ditavonteesed its my all time favourite name. We are still TTC but its our top girl name and has been for many years now. Not many names go well with our surname but this sounds lovely together with it.

DH was asking what we could shorten it too and I honestly didn't know as I have never known anyone in my life with this name.

I know a Genevieve that goes by Jenny

The Genevieve that I know doesn't shorten it. Everyone calls her Genevieve.

Generally my name doesn’t get shortened, but I have been called Jan and Jay by a few people who got away with it!

The genevieve I know gets shortened to Fi or FiFi
