Recently stumbled upon the name Floris. Its a boys name (danish, means to blossom). Do you think its usable for a girl?

...which almost autocorrected to Flour there.

Quite like that actually. Call her Flour.

It is a perfume brand - that is what I first thought of.

Almost certainly anyone named 'Floris' will have their name shortened to 'Flo'.

It’s a boy’s name but it actually does look / sound rather feminine imo. And there are girls names that end in ‘is’...

Imo similar names:
Fleur, Flora, Clarissa/Clarice, Anais, Cerys, Chloris/Cloris, Florence, Phyllis, Lovise, Maris (and maybe Polaris. I’ve recently met an adorable little girl named Polaris.)

Yeah, I think it's a grower. Bit different, but sounds quite elegantly retro.

I don’t see why not it’s just a variant of Flora. It being a perfumerie would put me off personally. I don’t like Florence/Flora anyway.
