Honest opinions on the name Julian please.

Jolyon is quite nice.

I hate the name Julian, sorry. I've known a few and they've not been nice people. It also sounds incredibly 'wet.

Julian is cool. I like it. Classic, not overused.

The point is that they don’t know what an actual posh name is.

Love this name - to me, Julian is tall, strong, masculine, intelligent, creative, a leader. Go for it.

I have a large adult son called Julian (we call him Jools) very ordinary non posh went to bog standard comp....we are dreadfully common

Julian is a great name. Not massively of any particular period and not obviously posh/not posh in imo.
