Jolyon is quite nice.

MyBeloved · 05/01/2018 18:43

I hate the name Julian, sorry. I've known a few and they've not been nice people. It also sounds incredibly 'wet.

NinonDeLenclos · 05/01/2018 20:25

Julian is cool. I like it. Classic, not overused.

Everything is 'wannabe posh' for some people that's not actually Kayden.

NinonDeLenclos · 05/01/2018 20:28

Is this man wet?

Yes, that’s right. My children are called Kayden, Jayden, Kai and Jaxon. That’s why I find Julian ‘wannabe posh’.

NewYearNiki · 05/01/2018 23:39

Absolutely love it.

TatianaLarina · 05/01/2018 23:54

Oh God the ‘wannabe posh’ brigade. Julian isn’t even a particularly posh name. Goes on the same shelf as ‘try hard’.

squoosh · 06/01/2018 00:09

It's desperately dweeby.

Snivelly men children like Julian Assange (vomits until eternity) and that patronising twat of a Julian from the Famous Five. Anne should have booted you up the hole.

HuskyMcClusky · 06/01/2018 00:23

That’s why it’s ‘wannabe’. Wink

For people who wannabe what they’re not.

TatianaLarina · 06/01/2018 00:27

If people wannabe posh surely they’d chose a posh name as that’s what they wannabe.

Not a not particularly posh name...

Mrsknackered · 06/01/2018 00:27

King Julian and Julian Clary. Sorry OP, it's a no from me!

HuskyMcClusky · 06/01/2018 00:27

The point is that they don’t know what an actual posh name is.

TatianaLarina · 06/01/2018 00:30

No-one in this country doesn’t know what a posh name is.

We have a go to Royal family.

MollyHuaCha · 06/01/2018 00:41

Love this name - to me, Julian is tall, strong, masculine, intelligent, creative, a leader. Go for it. Smile

There was meant to be a confused Regina George gif with that. Grin

squoosh · 06/01/2018 00:52

Oh, she's there!

I couldn't see her earlier. (I blame Julian from the F5)

damekindness · 06/01/2018 00:52

I have a large adult son called Julian (we call him Jools) very ordinary non posh went to bog standard comp....we are dreadfully common

Anyway - he tells me likes his name because round our way it's unusual

TatianaLarina · 06/01/2018 01:05

we are dreadfully common

Grin I love you a little bit

greatpotential · 06/01/2018 06:12

Julian is a great name. Not massively of any particular period and not obviously posh/not posh in imo.
