Middle name for Thomas?

DS is being called Thomas after DH's dad who passed away. I'd have chosen something more exciting but understand that DH wants to honour his dad. So I'm looking for a more exciting middle name! Our surname starts with S and Thomas S---- doesn't flow well, so I'm expecting him to use his middle name all the time.

I'm looking for something cool and modern with some sort of meaning, maybe a surname sort of name. Ideas so far have included:

Thomas Winter or Thomas Frost (because of the weather)
Thomas Gray (a family name)
Thomas Wolf (related to where we live)

Are any of these silly? Any more ideas?

Like Gray if you want a familyndme.

Otherwise:

Thomas David

Thomas William

Thomas John

Thomas Edward

There’s is no chance of him using his middle name all the time - especially if you give him a ridiculous name like Frost.

Thomas S is also perfectly acceptable - I know two.

A nice middle name would be something as traditional as Thomas, such as Henry, Noah, Nicholas, Percy etc.
