Both are lovely! I considered both for our baby, but wasn’t sure it was very easy to shorten Helena - Hels? Lenny? - and didn’t really like Jules.

I’d probably vote for Juliette out of the two.

Helena. It's a beautiful name and so underused plus she could be Nell which is quite 'in' atm

Bellaposey · 08/12/2017 08:20

I have a little Helena and she gets Nell or Nellie. I've only had one or two people mispronouce it Hel-ay-na but it doesn't bother me. I love her name and it gets lovely comments all the time.

CakeRattleandRoll · 08/12/2017 22:49

Juliet

Pop24 · 08/12/2017 22:51

Helena

Freyanna · 08/12/2017 23:06

Helena

OurNextAdventure · 09/12/2017 00:24

I really like Helena. But maybe also consider "Julietta" - I'm biased as it's my middle name and I've always loved it.

dotdotdotmustdash · 09/12/2017 00:27

They're both very pretty, but I would probably go for Helena. I would pronounce it Hell-eyna.

eastlondoner · 09/12/2017 00:28

I really love Juliet and I really dislike Helena.

AdaColeman · 09/12/2017 00:31

Both lovely, but I would pick Juliet as it is rarely used at the moment.

AmysTiara · 09/12/2017 00:32

Juliet.

She may get called Nelly if you call her Helena and that's an awful name.

WeeChoochyFace · 09/12/2017 00:33

Helena. Definitely.

Ohmyfuck · 09/12/2017 00:36

Helena (pronounced Hel-ay-na)!

Ohmyfuck · 09/12/2017 00:38

Juliet is nice too though (and I also know a lovely lady called 'Julietta' which is both a pretty and unusual name. :-)

MancUnicorn · 09/12/2017 03:49

Helena gets my vote!

rowtheboats · 09/12/2017 04:19

Juliet

NinonDeLenclos · 09/12/2017 14:04

Helena by miles. Juliet is awful.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/12/2017 14:08

Juliet

AliciaMayEmory · 09/12/2017 14:09

Helena, but pronounced Helen-a, not Hel-ay-na.
Juliet is nice, but will always make me think of Romeo and Juliet.

Helena17 · 09/12/2017 14:45

Helena. :) it's obvious.

Highpeak · 09/12/2017 14:56

I had both on the list for DD born this year but we went with Juliet in the end.

buttercup54321 · 10/12/2017 01:08

Juliette.

Elena?
