Mixed names would be preferred..which are easy to pronounce but still sound Indian.. any ideas? Smile

I went to school with two sisters and a cousin who were Karminder,
Parminder and Sharminder. And a good friend when I was a teenager was Daljit. The premier of our province (I live in Vancouver Canada) a few premiers back was Sikh, his first name was Ujjal (not a great name to my ears, though a good Premier).

I think Kaur means princess in Punjabi (?), but it is the middle name for most Sikh women so it would be maybe odd to use it if not Sikh. Ditto Singh for a boy (think it means lion?).

Sunny may just come from English as I think Sunil and Sunit are more Hindu names (& they’re the only ones off the top of my head that Sunny might come from).
