Based the spellings, how would you pronounce these 6 names?

I would assume Elena and Ellen.

But I would really wonder why you weren't using the traditional spelling and why you wanted to make your dd's life even a tiny bit more difficult for no good reason.

I'll also add that I wouldn't pronounce any of them the same as you would "Eleanor".

could you not just use Eleanor or Ellen or Aileen? Lots of the difference in pronunciation will be due to regional differences I expect.

It's not for my child. I love looking at the lists of names that are released each year and was perusing the 2016 list of girls names and couldn't working out how they were pronounced.

I'm not sure. Elena seems the only correct name?

Elin is Welsh and is EH-lin
