What do you think? Is it too short and simple? Should I just go for Ella? Just love, love, love this name.

It’s a pronoun in my mind, not a name.

pipilangstrumpf · 14/11/2017 10:02

And in German a unit of measurement, eine Elle, pronounced Ell-eh.

Which may or may not bother you Grin

BernardBlacksHangover · 14/11/2017 10:04

I like Elle pronounced Ell. Way nicer than Ella or Ellie to me.

Annabelle4 · 14/11/2017 10:27

I love it.
So soft and elegant.

Madamfrog · 14/11/2017 20:04

It looks a bit strange to French-speakers because it means 'she', you could have a boy next and call him 'Lui'.

Ellieboolou27 · 14/11/2017 20:07

Put an E at the end of it and you've the perfect name, Ellen - not that I'm bias Grin

tiddleywinks27 · 14/11/2017 20:24

It’s lovely on its own

Mamabear4180 · 15/11/2017 19:16

I love it. I have an Eliana, nn Elly so I'm also biased.

leccybill · 15/11/2017 19:22

To me, it's a pronoun, sorry. Like Je.
I teach 2 Elle's, prenounced Ellie, which I just don't understand.

lunabear1 · 16/11/2017 23:36

Love Elle! We're going to have Elaura with Elle/Ella as nicknames as I love them all haha.
