What do you think? Is it too short and simple? Should I just go for Ella? Just love, love, love this name.

It’s a pronoun in my mind, not a name.

And in German a unit of measurement, eine Elle, pronounced Ell-eh.

I like Elle pronounced Ell. Way nicer than Ella or Ellie to me.

It looks a bit strange to French-speakers because it means 'she', you could have a boy next and call him 'Lui'.

Put an E at the end of it and you've the perfect name, Ellen - not that I'm bias
