What are your thoughts on Abraham and Abram for a boy?

Abraham. Abram was before he was saved.

TheVanguardSix · 21/10/2017 21:52

I have a good friend Avram, which I prefer to Abram. It's a very solid name. You can't go wrong with it.

SuperBeagle · 21/10/2017 21:54

Don't like them. They're far too religious for my liking (especially Abraham).

Liadain · 21/10/2017 21:55

They are very religious imo (but then, maybe that's what you want). I think I'd be nicknaming Bram. I marginally prefer Abraham but it's much of a muchness for me.

Sophronia · 21/10/2017 21:56

I like them both, especially with nn Bram.

wwwwwwwwwwwwww · 21/10/2017 21:57

Love Abraham - Abe for short.

scroogem · 21/10/2017 22:02

I love both, and love the nickname Bram. Unfortunately OH vetoed it.

TidyDancer · 21/10/2017 22:17

Not keen myself. Too religious and reminds me of poor Sgt Abraham from TWD and look how that ended!

Buntysoven · 22/10/2017 01:21

Abraham nn Bram is fab

WanderingTrolley1 · 22/10/2017 01:27

Abraham, nn Abe.

Chaffinch4 · 22/10/2017 08:08

Abraham nn Abe for me too.

Threeandabit · 22/10/2017 13:56

Prefer Abraham out of the 2.

Loveisthelaw · 26/10/2017 19:55

Avram or Abram for me is very religious. I also like Abraham/Bram

stellarfox · 26/10/2017 21:17

I think Abram is sweet but they do sound very religious which puts me off

MrsHarker · 28/10/2017 08:05

Abraham nn Bram is on my shortlist, love it.
