Maxwell or just Max?

Which do you prefer?

I'm just adding it to a long list at the moment, so could quite easily be neither!

We called our Max just Max, because I have a name that has been shortened from birth and I hate all the explaining.

I like Maxwell best.

Max. And I usually prefer longer versions of names but Max is an exception (and a name in its own right). Maxwell makes me think of coffee, sorry!

I'm not keen on Maxwell at all. I do prefer Maxim or Maximilian with Max for short. If it was just between Maxwell and Max I'd go for Max, though.

I like Maxim.
